Digi Locker System is a cloud digital locker service launched by the Government of India through which people can keep their important documents on Digi Locker. Computer users can use the service of this digital locker with the help of DigiLocker’s official website www.digilocker.gov.in and Android and iOS users by downloading its application from their App Store. This service has been launched by the ‘Department of Electronics and Information Technology’ of India.

Digi Locker is a part of Digital India’s first as well. The biggest reason for starting Digi Locker is that people can be educated in a digital way. Also, once DigiLocker is fully operational in all the necessary institutions, there will be a reduction in paper work and online services will accelerate, so that people’s work will be completed in all offices at the earliest.

Digi Locker is very easy to use and free. First you have to register your mobile number. After that, any person can register with the help of his Aadhaar number and after Aadhaar is verified through OTP, he can link his Aadhaar linked documents with Digi Locker app or website.

How to Signup in Digilocker App?

1. First of all go to the official website of DigiLocker or download the DigiLocker App.

2. After that click on Signup on the website or app.

3. After clicking on Signup, you will see a new list where you have to enter your mobile number. After entering the mobile number and continuing, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number.

4. After entering the OTP in the given space, you will see a new page where you will have to enter the new Username, Password of your Digi Locker. After that click on SignUp.

5. After that your Digi Locker account will be opened. First of all link your Aadhar Number with your DigiLocker by visiting Digilocker App. To link aadhar card, first enter your aadhaar card number. On entering Aadhar card number you will receive an OTP on Aadhar link mobile number. After entering this OTP and continuing, you will see all the issued documents related to the Aadhar card inside Digi Locker.

6. You can also add many of your other documents with Digi Locker by going to Search Documents. Friends, if you want, with the help of Upload option, you can upload your necessary documents and keep them on Digi Locker.

7. The most important thing about Digi Locker is that you can easily view your document and download PDF from this app or website.
